Licenced, Bonded, Insured and Federal (GSA) Security Cleared.
We are very concerned with the impact the current economic environment has had on the trades. Unlicensed and uninsured contractors are taking advantage of unaware consumers in record numbers. Contracting or advertising without a LICENSE is against the law, and we urge you to check out the company or person you hire. The Nevada Contractor's Board is a great place to start.
ALWAYS check to see that the contractor you hire is INSURED. Ask to see their Workman's Compensation and General Liability insurance and check to see that they are current. Without this protection, you are at risk for any damage to person or property -- even if the contractor himself gets hurt on your job!
You can also check the Better Business Bureau for their rating on any business. "Accredited" only means a company has paid BBB a fee for that title and is not necessary to be rated. You will see that our rating is A+.
Get a CONTRACT and make sure you understand all of it. Make sure it includes information about the Residential Recovery Fund as this is required by law on every contract.
